SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Technical

Should having working and hands on knowledge of SQL server 2005/2008

Should be able to analyze the database and tune the bottle necks for the database.

Should be able to come up with idea for optimization of database.

Should be able to write stored procedure and triggers.

Should be able to create schema/users and write cross DB queries.

Should be able to debug and tune the underperforming queries.

Should be able to understand and write technical design doc.

Should be able write scripts for small migrations .

Should be able to unit test and support various testing in the project.

Should have good knowledge of OSS background.

Prefer to have understanding of Oracle PL/SQL also.
