MS SQL MI/Data Warehouse Developer - Banking

Global Banking Organisation seeking a developer to design and develop a data warehouse reporting solution, consolidating internal and third party data for the purpose of management and executive reporting. The ideal candidate will provide global technical expertise to the subject matter experts and end user communities. Responsibilities include: * To design, develop and support MI data warehouse and reporting solutions * To manage, assess and recommend solution options for business change requests * Collaborating with the senior stakeholders, reporting analysts and end users to manage and prioritise data requirements and change requests * Collaborating with the wider MI development team to ensure solution designs are consistent and compliant with other MI data warehouse model * Defining and upholding coding standards for report development * Providing consultation, training and advice to the reporting analysts * Providing recommendations for technical enhancements * Be willing to train others in development technologies and methods * Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure Essential Skills: * SQL Server 2005 / 2008 Design, Development & Maintenance * Agile Development Principles * Adaptable to new and changing business conditions * BIDS - SSIS 2005 / 2008 Desirable Skills * Experience with C# and .NET framework development * Knowledge of XML & XSD * SQL certification highly desirable * Working within a HR business highly desirable * Working with SAP Business Objects advantageous * Knowledge of QlikView * Knowledge of AutoSys Please respond immediately if you are interested.
