DESCRIPTION/REQUIREMENT:
Five (5) years of SQL development experience on MS SQL Server 2005 and MS SQL Server 2008
with strong command of the SQL language.
Three (3) years knowledge of SQL best practices, including designing for performance optimization
Evaluates designs and maintains database objects according to specifications or business requirements, writing T-SQL scripts for tables, views, data manipulation, and stored procedure creation & modification.
Ability to analyze business requirements and translate these into and technical specifications
Ability to work with a diverse project team, including Business Analysts, and Project Managers
Performs testing of modifications and enhancements to ensure data integrity and the ability to performance tune database objects.
Works with minimal supervision.
Relies on broad experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
MS SQL developer to augment staff to reduce backlog of state reporting work tickets.
Works closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. These solutions must be aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization's architectural standards. Involved in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting applications software that is delivered on time and within budget. Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code. Responsibilities may also include participation in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation and buy vs. build recommendations. Has experience in systems analysis, design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies.

Primary Responsibilities:
Develops solutions requiring analysis and research.
Works on small to large, complex projects that require increased sill in multiple technical
environments and possesses knowledge in a specific business area
Works on one or more projected as a project team member or occasionally as a project  lead.
May coach more junior technical staff.
