MS SQL Database Administrator - Sharepoint Support Experience - 3 mont

I'm currently working on an urgent 3 month contract requirement for a Microsoft SQL Database Administrator (DBA) with SharePoint Support experience to join this large Global organisation listed in the ASX.

The successful candidate will need to have demonstrated experience in Administration of MSSQL Server Environment & Administration on Enterprise Applications.

You may also be involved in providing assistance to users via phone, email, and in person support as appropriate. This role includes supporting applications and act as their SharePoint Administrator.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL FOR THIS POSITION YOU NEED TO HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING:

DBA EXPERIENCE:

- Database Administration of MSSQL Server Environment & Administration on Enterprise Applications
- Schedule Database Maintenance
- Database Backup and Restores
- Monitoring Performance and Capacity
- Troubleshooting Performance Issues and Job Failures
- 3rd Level Support Services Tickets of SQL Server and Enterprise Applications

SHAREPOINT SUPPORT EXPERIENCE:

- 1+ years SharePoint power user experience.
- 2+ years help desk or other support role.
- Previous helpdesk with some administration experience with both SharePoint 2007 and 2010
- Customer service experience | excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with clients and colleagues
- Strong people skills with the capacity to work well in a team environment
