MS SQL Database Administrator for Multinational Client in Stockholm/Sw

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A MS SQL DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR TO WORK AT OUR MULTINATIONAL CLIENT IN STOCKHOLM/SWEDEN.

EXPECTED TASKS AND DELIVERABLES BY THE CONSULTANT

- Maintain the database Servers, review the database setups and configurations and where possible find and propose areas for improvements.
- Create working procedures for the other team members.
- Discuss with the development teams and the other administrators how possible design changes can solve problems in future releases.
- Integration of new systems into the existing environment
- Ensure 2nd & 3rd line support
- Document the current environment and changes to it
- Identify the cause of problems, document, and develop solutions
- Submit weekly reports to document the work done.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

- University degree with minimum 5 years experience in IT
- Excellent experience working as DBA in MSSQL2005/2008/2012.
- Excellent experience with SSRS and SSAS
- Excellent experience working with big databases (>100Gb).
- Excellent experience in code review, eg for TSQL stored procedures.
- Knowledge of HA (High Availability) and load balancing solutions
- Knowledge/experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server and related databases
- Experience working with database design and working together with a development team.
- Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft System Centre Operations Manager 2012
- Knowledge of Powershell Scripting
- Experience with Microsoft clustering
- Knowledge of and experience with AD and ADFS
- Knowledge of and experience with backup solutions
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2008r2 and 2012
- Fluent in English
