MS SQL Database Administrator - Banking - Zürich

MS SQL Database Administrator wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.
As part of the global DBA organization the MS SQL database team provides 2nd and 3rd Level Support for Trading and Sales, Corporate, Retail and Private Banking applications.
YOUR TASKS:
- Technical management and coordination of issues and projects primarily involving installation, configuration and on-going administration tasks on MS SQL databases
- You will upgrade and migrate databases and be involved in the configuration management and backup recovery
- DBA support for development teams and involvement in recommendations for new projects
- Additional function to provide advice and assistance in terms of developing and progressing the infrastructure environments, including the assessment of needs and recommend solutions in an Enterprise IT
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Strong experience in MS SQL Database (min. 5 years) and at least 3-5 years production support experience
- Solid Know How of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 up to recent
- Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and SQL Server Clustering based on Windows Server 2003/2008 with VERITAS clustering and volume manager
- Knowledge of installing and configuring SQL Server - Reporting Services, Integrations Services, Analysis Services
- OnCall readiness
- Languages: English skills at least on a high conversational level
