MS Solutions Specialist

My client a leading Australian employer is looking for a Microsoft Solutions Specialist to join their team in Canberra on an initial 6 month contract basis with extension options. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, integration and support of the solutions based on the Microsoft technologies.

To be considered for this role you must have:

- Tertiary qualifications in computer science, information technology, a related discipline or comparable working experience
- Strong experience with:
- Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012/R2
- Microsoft Virtualization (Hyper-V 2008/2012/R2)
- Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013
- Microsoft Lync 2010/2013
- Microsoft System Center Suite 2012/R2
- Experience with the following technologies:
- Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems
- Microsoft Active Directory
- Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014
- Ability to develop and maintain scripts using Microsoft PowerShell v2 or v3.
- Experience with authoring/reviewing technical documentation.
- Strong oral and written communications & liaison skills.
- Ability to integrate Microsoft technologies and products with third party products
- Practical understanding of application virtualisation technologies such as Microsoft App-V.
- Experience/knowledge of the following technologies:
- Citrix products
- VMware products
- Scripting using VB or other Scripting languages
- Microsoft SharePoint 2010/2013
- Experience/knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and other networking technologies
- Experience/knowledge of server and storage infrastructure
- Basic understanding of the ISM/eDSM and AGIMO COE policies

NB YOU MUST BE AN AUSTRALIAN CITIZEN WITH MINIMUM BASELINE SECURITY CLEARANCE (BUT NV1 IS PREFERRED) TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE.
