MS Lync Solution Architect for Multinational Institution in the Hague

WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN MS LYNC SOLUTION ARCHITECT TO WORK AT OUR MULTINATIONAL CLIENT IN THE HAGUE/NETHERLANDS.

The applicant should not only be able to advise the client on the design and build of the infrastructure, but also to participate in the implementation and the early stages of operations of a new solution.

TASKS

-Design, build, implement and operate a VoIP solution/infrastructure (taking the lead in the architectural design and technical specifications)
-Build the infrastructure in Tandem with a video-conferencing solution based on (and being compatible with) the same technology
-Make recommendations for changes and improvements
-Deliver high quality documentation and communication in English fluently
-Train other support staff

PROFILE

-It is absolutely mandatory that the applicant has previous, proven experience of the implementation of Voice Over IP solutions, based on Microsoft Lync technology at, at least, two different client sites within the past 5 years.
-Microsoft Lync certification: the applicant shall be able to handle technical cases with Microsoft support all the way to their (MS) highest level;
-Experience of Lync EndPoint Management, Lync Edge systems;
-Experience with Checkpoint Firewalls desirable;
-Ability to apply and validate server configuration changes;
-Full understanding of the interconnection with Legacy PABX systems (eg MX-One).
-Minimum 5 years of experience in VoIP infrastructure with Microsoft product suite and PABX traditional environment
-Experience with VoIP SIP trunks, ACME, Gateways;
-Experience with specific networking and telephony tools (eg HPOV, Packeteer, etc), Solidus Call centre, etc;

-An ability to combine consultancy-level skills with being fully hands-on and operational as required;
-Strong analytical and organisational skills;
-Good interpersonal skills, the ability to interact with all levels of the organisation and to work within a team;
-Articulate in explaining technical matters to any audience;
-The ability to work and maintain poise under pressure;
-The ability to work autonomously when required within the boundaries and objectives set out by the client's management;
-Complete fluency in English, both written and spoken; A working knowledge of German and/or French would be considered an advantage.
