MS Lync Floorwalker – Essex – 3 Months Rolling

My client, a market leader in providing IT solutions in both private and public sectors, require a Microsoft Lync Floorwalker to provide support on a large-scale migration project. The main site for the role is Chelmsford, however there will be travel to various sites within Essex. Responsibilities:

- Support end users with troubleshooting on MS Lync as well as other platforms
- Assist with migration of Lync 2010 - Lync 2013
- Support Lync in cooperation with Mitel telephony systems
- Monitoring, documenting and troubleshooting equipment and services using remote monitoring, management and analysis tools as needed
- Perform or assist team members with project tasks
- Collaboration with various communications/equipment vendors, other IT teams, business units and associates Requirements:
- Must have previous working exposure with MS Lync 2010/2013
- Good communication skills
- Exposure to providing support in migration projects (Lync 2010 - 2013 migration desirable)
- Good working exposure to Mitel telephony systems or similar is desirable
- Ability to demonstrate an analytical and systematic approach to problem solving
- A pro-active attitude and can use initiative to identify and negotiate appropriate development opportunities All candidates must either have or be eligible to undertake and pass an Enhanced CRB Disclosure. As this role involves travelling to various sites, a Full UK Drivers licence and own vehicle will be an advantage. Essex - 3 Months Rolling - Market Rate
