For a major international client in Vevey, we are looking for a:

MS DEVELOPMENT TECHNOLOGIES EXPERT

to ddefine and manage development standards and internal practices by identifying and assess new development technologies as well as to perform technical reviews and QA sampling.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS AND INTERNAL PRACTICES

- Define, write and maintain Development Standards and Internal Practices to promote industry best practices and minimize risk of incidents due to coding errors. Communicate changes to stakeholders.

DEVELOPMENT TECHNOLOGIES

- Identify new development technologies.
- Organise awareness session with stakeholders.
- Guide future adoption through maturity project, proof of concepts, pathfinder projects, etc.

QUALITY

- Perform QA sampling on our client's custom code delivered by the Managed Service supplier, maintain KPI's for code quality and compliance.

TECHNICAL COACHING

- Help project team architects and developers to design and build their solutions, by providing recommendations on patterns choices, identifying factors that must be further investigated.

TECHNICAL REVIEWS

- Contribute to Architecture Review Meetings (ARM).
- Ensure that proposed solutions architecture are well designed.
- Manage technical review through Design Review Meeting (DRM)
- Ensure that all components of the solution to be developed are well designed and compliant with our client's standards.

CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE:

- EXPERT IN SOLUTION & APPLICATION ARCHITECTURE
- VERY STRONG KNOWLEDGE OF MS .NET FRAMEWORK AND ASP.NET
- VERY GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF C#, ENTITY FRAMEWORK AND MVC MOBILE DEVELOPMENT
- Good skills in Visual Basic .Net, Javascript frameworks, Tamarin and Transact-SQL
- Good communication skills in English

THIS IS A CONTRACT POSITION WITH AN INTERNATIONAL CLIENT UNTIL THE END OF 2016 IN THE FIRST INSTANCE. THE CLIENT IS LOCATED ON LAKE GENEVA, IN VEVEY. INFO-TECH WILL PROVIDE ADVICE AND SUPPORT THROUGH YOUR RELOCATION IF YOU ARE WORKING IN SWITZERLAND FOR THE FIRST TIME.
