MS BI Developer- SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, SQL BI Stack and SQL Server 2008 R2/2012
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop complex T-SQL (stored procedures, view, functions) code for varying in house applications, SSIS packages and SSRS reports.
- Design and develop ETL SSIS packages to import and transform data from external sources, in varying formats (XML, CSV, bespoke delimited data files).
- Review underperforming T-SQL code and modify or rewrite these to optimise their performance.
- Create reports for internal and external distribution using SSRS and SHAREPOINT.
- Develop ETL and reporting solutions within SSIS and SSRS to deal with EMIR and FATCA regulatory requirements.
- Maintain, enhance and optimise existing SSAS Cubes.
- Design and implement Fitnesse tests as part of SDLC process.
- Participate in daily scrums as part of 2 week sprints.
- Meet with different departments to analyse user requirements and determine the best solution for their needs.
