JOB TITLE: MS-BI DEVELOPER OR LEAD - SSIS, SSRS, PERFORMANCE TUNING
LOCATION: BASEL, SWITZERLAND
TYPE OF ROLE: CONTRACT FOR 6 MONTHS
Over all 5-8 years of experience as MS-BI (LEAD) DEVELOPER
Knowledge of Sales & Marketing and Distribution business processes and data.
Knowledge of supply chain business processes and data.
Experience collaborating with remote developers
Good analytical skills.
Good Knowledge in SSIS Packages
Knowledge in SSAS/SSRS
Creating Tables and Writing Stored Procedures and User defined functions in SQL server
Strong Knowledge SAP Integrations, SAP BW and SAP R/3 Integrations with MS-BI.
Experience working with Theobald ETL
Functional proficiency in Finance Data Warehousing projects.
Experience in OLTP, OLAP/Data Warehouse, Data Marts and dimensional modelling.
Worked on creation of Entity Relationship diagrams and Data Models using Star and Snowflake Schema.
Experience in writing complex T-SQL queries using store procedures, efficient triggers, user defined and scalar values functions, joins and indexes.
Involved in performance tuning of huge volumes of data using SQL Profiler, Execution plans.
Expert in designing ETL Control and Data flow tasks in SSIS using various transformations based on the business requirements. Worked with various data sources including Excel, CSV, XML and Oracle.
Worked on Scheduling of SSIS packages through SQL server agent, sending alert Emails to the end users for every data load.
Experience in Error and Event Handling, Precedence Constraints, Transactions, Parameters, Break Points, Check Points, Logging.
Deployment of SSIS packages using both File System and SQL server.
Expertise in developing tabular, Matrix, chart, parameterized, cascading, Sub Report, drill down and drill through reports using SSRS.
Worked on deployment of reports in Report Server. Also, involved in creating adhoc reports and subscriptions in Report Manager.
Exposure to advanced debugging skills: Core Debugging, memory leak and crash dump analysis.
