MS Access Developer/Support Analyst

A leading global IT company is currently seeking to engage an Application Development and Support Analyst with strong expertise in MS Access/VB/Macros. This is a long-term contract opportunity based on their client site in Sydney CBD.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Application development and maintenance: Perform the development of software solutions (projects, enhancements, maintenance and/or support); Develop operational and system documentation to enable effective maintenance and support of applications; Conduct component testing of software solutions developed to ensure quality and (fit for purpose) deliverables
- Application design: Assist Senior Developer contribute to the development of detailed design documents to enable solutions development to identify final sizing and costing within application domain
- Service delivery: Assist system maintenance, including implementation of business recovery, disaster recovery and continuity plans, to deliver system availability, reliability, stability, currency and recoverability of applications to meet agreed service levels

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Very strong hands-on experience in MS Access application development/support
- Must have VBA development experience on MS Access DB
- Proficient with writing/debussing Macros in xls
