MS Access Analyst/Developer

The knowledge transfer:

Introduction in the functional domain of the application by the developer and/or key-users

First hand technical information from the developer of the current tool

The user and technical documentation of the current MS Access program

The source code of the program

The mission is composed of the following actions:

To get familiarized with the scope of the required knowledge transfer

To make a complete inventory of the existing information sources

Identify early on, potential lack of information sources to successfully complete the mission

Acquire the necessary technical and functional knowledge in order to be able to act as expert in the ongoing migration project.

Provide regular progress feedback to the application development coordinator

EXPECTED COMPETENCIES

Master's degree or Bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of IT experience

5+ years of experience in MS Access development (including MS Access 2007 or higher)

Experience as functional analyst for complex applications

Experience in development of applications with SQL Server as database Back End

Experience in the functional domain of complex unit-rate based contracts

Ability to work autonomously and self-organize the work needed to accomplish the mission

Language: Dutch, English

Good communication skills

Mission to be started ASAP in Q2 2014

Mission length: 50% FTE during 3 months (may be extended by 3 months)
