MS ACCESS DEVELOPER/CONSULTANT - BRUSSELS, BELGIUM - ENGLISH SPEAKING - 1 MONTH+
One of our blue chip clients is urgently looking for a MS Access Developer/Consultant.
Job description
My client is implementing Meridium, a new tool to report production losses. Previously this was done using the application UPbase. As my client wants to have historical data in Meridium, the data in UPbase of the past 5 years must be transferred to Meridium. However, the data in UPbase cannot be mapped 1-to-1 with the data in Meridium, as different fields are used by Meridium vs. UPbase.
An MS Access database needs to be built in order to transform the data from UPbase into sheets which can be uploaded in Meridium. For this task, my client needs support of an MS Access Developer/Consultant.
The tool needs to support the following capabilities:
Step 1: Import csv files in an MS Acess database and execute a limited clean-up
Step 2: Transform the data in a specific format and export result to excel
Step 3: Upload of excel back to Access tool
Step 4: Generate excel load files (other format)
Description of Mandatory Fields
1. MS Access development and links with MS Excel
2. English language skills
