MS Access Database Developer

For our client, global banking company, located in Zurich is looking for a MS ACCESS DATABASE DEVELOPER FOR A 6-MONTHS CONTRACT.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Experienced in MS Access 2010 Database Design, Data Model implementation, Data Loads from external sources, Data Transformation and Aggregation
Experienced in MS Access 2010 Database related development
Programming in Visual Basic for Applications and VC++ to develop reports, queries and linked tables

- VBA coding to extract information from various sources and import into MS Access
- Access RESTful interfaces of JIRA from Access VBA
- Access ODBC data sources (Oracle and MSQL) for data import
- performance tuning of queries
- develop reconciliations of Access DB results to the strategic/source system results

Analyze error logs and new requirements to design and implement solutions
Experienced in Database Administration to maintain security and integrity of the database
Experienced Windows 7 Shell script (CMD) and PowerShell developer
Create, execute and report on regression test plans and scripts
Prepare technical requirements and documentation for follow-up evaluations of Data Loads, Data Transformation and Aggregation for a data warehouse, considering the MS Access work prototyping

WORK EXPERIENCE: MINIMUM 5-7 YEARS
