MS Access Consultant (Security Cleared)

The contract is with a consultancy based in Brussels to be on an assignment at a European site in Den Haag Netherlands. The client is requesting one Specialist/Engineer Senior Consultant, expert on MS Access and VB(A) technologies, to assist in the development phase a new systemof EAS CAMA:

Requirements:
Good working knowledge of English (assessed on the basis of the CV and for candidates passing minimum requirements, during the interview).

Professional experience:

Essential:
A minimum of 6 years experience and proficiency in software development;
A minimum of 5 years experience with MS Access technologies;
A minimum of 5 years experience with Visual Basic for Applications or VB;
A minimum of 3 years experience with MS SQL Server;

Professional knowledge:

Essential:
Knowledge of relational database systems;
Knowledge of SQL (for SQL Server and MS Access);
Knowledge of application development using MS Access (VBA);

Desirable:
Knowledge of linked tables with MS Access and MS SQLS;
Knowledge of performance improvement strategies for MS Access based applications;
Knowledge of iterative development approach;

Technical skills and competencies:

Essential:
A minimum of 3 years experience with Transact SQL;
A minimum of 5 years experience with MS Access;
A minimum of 5 years experience with VB(A);

Security clearance of the Consultant:

A security clearance at level CONFIDENTIEL UE/EU CONFIDENTIAL (or higher) or a NATO Security Clearance or a certificate of good conduct from the recognized and relevant EU nation al security authority not older than one (1) month must be presented prior to commencing work. Before the consultant can start the work at least a certificate of good conduct must be presented.
