MS Access Consultant

The contract is with a consultancy to be on assignment to a European site in The Hague, Netherlands as follows:- REQUIREMENTS:

- Good working knowledge of English (assessed on the basis of the CV and for candidates passing minimum requirements, during the interview).

Professional experience:

Essential:; A minimum of 6 years experience and proficiency in software development;  A minimum of 5 years experience with MS Access technologies; A minimum of 5 years experience with Visual Basic for Applications or VB; A minimum of 3 years experience with MS SQL Server;

Professional knowledge:

Essential: Knowledge of relational database systems; Knowledge of SQL (for SQL Server and MS Access); Knowledge of application development using MS Access (VBA);

Desirable: Knowledge of linked tables with MS Access and MS SQLS; Knowledge of performance improvement strategies for MS Access based applications; Knowledge of iterative development approach;

Technical skills and competencies: Essential:

- A minimum of 3 years experience with Transact SQL;
- A minimum of 5 years experience with MS Access;
- A minimum of 5 years experience with VB(A);

Candidates exceeding the minimum levels mentioned above will receive additional points.
