MRB ANALYST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Greensboro, NC.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Ensure implementation of procedures
- Validate work instruction

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Responsible to participate in and/or coordinate internal APQP activities including development of schedules and status reports.
- Assist in development and implementation of applicable procedures to meet company policies and Customer requirements, including training, problem solving, and review meetings.
- Perform Inspection utilizing work instruction, marked drawings and electronic worksheets.
- Provide visible identification of inspection status.
- Maintain inspection records in hard copy QC files and Electronic Databases.
- Generate discrepancy reports as necessary for inspection data found to not meet engineering requirements.
- Utilize hand measuring instruments, apply inspection methods, and techniques necessary to verify part conformance to engineering requirements including completion of inspection test reports.
- Maintain the integrity, identification and security of inspection tools and equipment.
- Perform periodic calibration in accordance with calibration procedures.
- Obtain engineering drawings or marked drawings from engineering needed for inspection.
- Repackage and preserve part integrity after inspection.
- Maintain Inventory control of rejected materials in MRB Room and bond areas and record material transactions in SAP as necessary to conform with MRB dispositions from the material Review Board.
- Perform periodic shelf life inspections as specified as may be required.
- Assist with first article inspection of various aircraft components.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Minimum Associate Degree and/or minimum five (5) years quality or manufacturing related experience including mechanical and/or composite, and/or systems assembly. One (1) year of direct aircraft quality experience potentially may be substituted for each year of college.
- Proficiency in the use of basic manufacturing inspection equipment. This includes but not limited to: calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, plug and thread gages and electronic height gages.
- Experienced in blue print reading including true-positional tolerance per ANSI/Y-14.5.
- Familiarity with machining operations including CNC, milling and grinding

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Strong understanding of tooling and production processes
- Excellent computer skills, experienced with MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel, some knowledge of SAP would be helpful.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and interpret ANSI Geometric Tolerance.
- Experience with SAP terminology, forms, and processes.
- Experienced in the use, calibration and care of all types of Inspection hand measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of Inspection methods, techniques and shop practices for the manufacture of castings, sheet metal, machined parts, and fabrications.
- Inspection of Electrical harnesses, panel assemblies, and other misc. aircraft components.
- CMM Programming experience desired.
