5+ years of experience in assembling PROJECT PLANS and teamwork assignments; tracking project milestones and identifying resources to meet the needs of the project

3+ years of experience with LARGE AND HIGH-PROFILE PROJECTS in MULTIPLE TECHNOLOGIES AND FUNCTIONS ENVIRONMENT
-
Experience with PROJECTS IN A PROGRAM ENVIRONMENT (ie, multiple interrelated and coordinated projects) led by a Program Manager
-
Ability to work with other project managers and under the leadership of a Program Manager
-
Demonstrated experience FACILITATING BUSINESS AND TECHNICAL ANALYSIS MEETINGS
-
Demonstrated experience with LARGE-SCALE IMPLEMENTATION PROJECTS with the following characteristics:

Very large and high-profile

Multiple technologies and functions
-
Staff resources across multiple initiatives/projects

Multi-million dollar budget

Within a Matrix environment

Close coordination/interaction with other project managers

Demonstrated experience preparing STATUS REPORTS and providing MANAGEMENT BRIEFINGS

Demonstrated ability to facilitate LARGE FOCUS-GROUP SESSIONS, webinars, interviews, or other meetings

Experience producing documentation related to meetings, analyses, or training materials

Experience working with SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE VENDORS

Proficiency with MICROSOFT EXCEL, PROJECT, POWERPOINT, VISIO, AND WORD

Experience with SINGLE SIGN-ON SOLUTION DEVELOPMENT/IMPLEMENTATION (MICROSOFT PREFERRED) AND/OR DASHBOARDS/REPORTS DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS PREFERRED

Understanding and working knowledge of State of Florida procurement rules and regulations, including State Term Contracts preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES/DELIVERABLES FOR PROJECT MANAGER:
THE PROJECT MANAGER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:

Understanding the program requirements and project goals and using that understanding to produce project deliverables
-
Assisting the project manager with managing the execution of procurement plans and production of deliverables on time, within budget, and to expectations.
-
Communicating project progress and information to project management team and core stakeholders.
-
Assisting project manager with communication to program leadership team, executive steering committee, and legislative body as appropriate.
-
Ensuring technical direction and standards for infrastructure and software applications are being followed.
-
Developing project plans and measuring actual progress against the plans.
-
Maintaining and updating project documentation to include project plans, budgets, risk plans, communication plans, change control logs, and reports.
-
Understanding strategic program direction and tactical goals, and effectively participating in the development and implementation of business solutions.
-
Managing project risk through comprehensive mitigation assessment and planning techniques.
-
Managing change control within the project and conducting impact analyses of scope, budget, and schedule changes, as necessary.
-
Ensuring that scope, budget, and schedule targets are within variance and project delivery dates will be met.
-
Assisting in directing both internal and external resources to achieve business solutions within project guidelines.
-
Identifying and eliminating obstacles to solution plans, business goals or implementation. Assist in the development and implementation of contingency plans.

Assisting in the development of project resource plan(s).
-
Ensuring consistent application of an effective project management methodology.
-
Ensuring that all project management processes are managed following the disciplines as defined in the PMI Project Management Body of Knowledge Guide®.

Assisting in preparation of State and Federal reporting as required.
-
Participating in conference calls with State and Federal stakeholders, as necessary.
-
Researching and maintaining knowledge in emerging technologies and possible application to the project/program.

Project management plan that includes detailed documentation defining the project planning, organization, and implementation steps associated with the deployment process.

Project Control and Change Control processes (issue log, change log).
-
Risk Management Plan (risk register, risk tracking, mitigation and issue tracking).
-
Budget and Financial Management including Cost Analysis/Cost Benefits.
-
Program Quality Assurance Plans for conformity to requirements.
-
Periodic status reports detailing accomplishments, tasks in progress, issues, and risks.
