MQ Specialist Z/os

We are looking for an experienced Software Specialist-WebSphere MQ Series on ZOS for an exciting, long term project at our Client. You will be working in a team of highly experienced professionals in a state-of-the-art environment.

Work location: Near Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Starting ASAP. 40 hours per week.

Excellent daily rate.

Job description:

General skills:

Strong communication skills.
Languages: English (word and writing) and preferably Dutch.
Ability to make clear agreements and live up to those agreements.
Teamplayer. Ability to cooperate with the other teammember as well as with other teams, clients and vendors in projects.
Create implementation documents and other technical documentation.
Create clear workinstructions in order to transfer the work to others (f.i. IDC India), knowledge transfer.
Flexible. Ability to cope with changes in planning and priorities. Ability to work under (time) pressure. Quick learner (new environments).
Willing to work outside office hours (weekends and nights) for projects and changes.
Knows preferably the AAB Mainframe environment.

Technical skills:

At least 5 years provable and recent experience on Mainframe as a Systems Programmer.
Knowledge of ISPF, TSO, REXX, JCL, OPC, RACF and Mainview
Recent indept knowledge on MQ on ZOS especially in a shared QSG environment
Recent indepth knowledge of MQ usage of CF structures and its management
Recent indepth knowledge on MQ clustering.
Knows about new facilities in MQ V8 and how to use them, especially irt CF structure handling.
Familiar with installation and maintenance of MQ software on ZOS (Including use of GSD)
Reasonable knowledge on IMS to/from MQ interaction, including OTMA
