ABOUT THE POSITION

GTN Technical Staffing is seeking a MQ Communications Application Framework Engineer/Senior Software Engineer for a Direct-Hire opportunity in Richardson, TX.  The MQ Communications Application Framework Engineer/Senior Software Engineer will be involved in creating a cloud-friendly, distributed system that can be scaled out with extremely high availability utilizing REST-based WebServices. Currently, our client using WCF Services, but they are leaning towards incorporating other technologies into their development, such as such as ZeroMQ and ActiveMQ. Additionally, any Server-to-Server WCF experience will provide a great foundational-basis for this role. From a culture standpoint, the MQ Communications Application Framework Engineer/Senior Software Engineer will need to be a software craftsman with a balance of skills that strive for continuous improvement and clean code. The MQ Communications Application Framework Engineer/Senior Software Engineer should have strong object-oriented skills and be familiar with SOLID principles.

5+ years of experience in the following skill sets

- Design/Develop Storage APIs/Templates

- SCRUM/Agile Development Methodology
