Our Industry leading client currently requires a WebSphere MQ Systems Administrator (WebSphere MQ/IBM MQ, File Transfer Edition, FTE) to work on a contract basis in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

The successful WebSphere MQ Systems Administrator should have extensive product knowledge of MQ and ideally also MQ FTE (although not essential).
The successful WebSphere MQ Systems Administrator is expected to plan, install and configure the product, implement applications, set up distributed queuing, enable appropriate security, administer and operate a queue manager network, enforce organisational and operational standards, perform basic problem determination and implement clustering and publish/subscribe topologies.

Essential skills:

- Working knowledge of WebSphere MQ - Minimum 5 years of experience
- Basic working knowledge of supported operating systems (eg, AIX, HPUX, Solaris, i5/OS, Linux on Intel, Linux on zSeries, z/OS, Windows)
- Good understanding of messaging concepts as they relate to IBM WebSphere MQ
- Good English language skills (verbal & written)

Desirable skills:

- Working knowledge of MQ FTE (File Transfer Systems)
- Dutch Language skills beneficial but not essential
