Motion Graphic Artist Job

MOTION GRAPHIC ARTIST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in STAMFORD, CT

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- College graduate with degree in graphic design, fine arts or related field
- Minimum one (1) year experience working at a network or broadcast design agency
- Candidates must be organized with their files and must work quickly and efficiently

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Support the Senior Design staff by building out and versioning approved design and animation elements
- Work with Senior Creatives and Project Managers to estimate job time requirements and plan workflows
- Implement graphic and animated elements for client's Sports Group including Network graphics, show packages, event insert graphics and titles
- Prep artwork for ongoing shows including cutting out athlete headshots and prepping logo art for Duet directories
- Must QC own work prior to giving to Project Managers for 2nd QC
- Errors and omissions must be at a minimum
- Understanding of the implementation of design elements in network television and live sports environments a must
- Strong Knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Cinema 4D, including modelling texturing and animating is a big plus

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Willingness to work overtime with short notice for show packaging
- Knowledge of current trends in graphic design
- Must be flexible, detail-oriented, deadline driven and a good collaborator
- Love of sports a plus
