MOSS Solutions Designer (SC) - Contract - Berkshire - £Competitive

Synergize Consulting are now hiring for a Solutions Designer with broad MOSS experience to work at a leading defence client based in Berkshire on a contract basis.

This SME will be responsible for providing technical expertise to take the MOSS and storage reporting service from proof of concept through design into live service.

Responsibilities include:

- Ownership of the reporting service solution including the authoring of all design, build and implementation documentation.
- Work with vendors to use their products to best effect and meet customers needs
- Workshop proof of concept solutions to customers
- Hands-on work to build and install the relevant COTS products, to meet customer requirements and expectations

Experience required:

- Previous experience with Windows Servers and operating systems as well as Active Directory
- Previous usage of MOSS reporting tools is essential
- Ability to interpret technical requirements and 'make things possible' based on these
- Knowledge of .NET languages and SQL Server would be useful
- Due to the nature of the client, it would be an advantage for candidates to hold or be eligible to undergo SC Clearance
