Starting at £33,562 and rising to £45,053 per annum. It is normal to appoint at the first point of the salary scale.

The University of Cambridge wishes to appoint a skilled Technical Developer to join the Student Systems Teaching and Learning team, supporting the University's Moodle VLE.

You will be responsible for providing technical development and support for Moodle. This includes configuration, maintenance, development, and operation of the system. You will provide 3rd line helpdesk support ensuring assigned requests are managed according to procedures, using version control and release management standards and software, and will work with Learning Technologists to identify, design and deliver new developments and plug-ins. Experience of working with Moodle would be an advantage but is not essential.

You will be a team-worker, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will have strong PHP, HTML, Javascript, and CSS skills. Experience of working within Higher Education would be an advantage.
