Moodle Senior Consultant - 6 Months Contract

SEC and a global IT Consulting Company are working together in the search and selection for a Moodle Senior Consultant for a 6 months international project in Alicante.

We are looking for an experienced Moodle Senior Consultant that will be involved in an implementation project. We are looking for a consultant with an in -depth knowledge of Moodle, so as to be able to integrate the Moodle LMS with various systems and any Moodle modules that may be required.

Your responsibilities will be:

*Analysis and recommendations of Integration with other of my client's systems
*Analysis of integration with mobile devices (ipads, iphones, etc)
*Moodle Systems Architecture: ensure system architecture successfully supports critical initiatives. Load balancing and database clustering, backup, recovery and fail over mechanisms.
*Customization Services
*Draft of Moodle Course integration and migration guidelines
*Support to Administration and Monitoring of performance: review of the implementation and System Architecture to ensure fit-for-purpose, validity, and compliance with my client's standards.
*Tune the systems configuration and make recommendations for tuning 3rd party components and systems.
*Generation of required documentation

You should be compliant with the following profile:

*A good knowledge of LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP)
*3-5 years' experience in working with Moodle at a technical consulting level
*3-5 years' experience in customizing Moodle.
*A thorough understanding of various Moodle modules and the integration of the modules into the LMS
*Experience in integrating Moodle with other systems (ie for Single Sign On)
*Experience with industry-standard software development processes
*A strong understanding of Content Management Systems
*BS in Computer Science or equivalent desirable.
*English written & spoken.
