Monitoring Specialist

For one of our clients in the Banking sector we are currently seeking a Monitoring Specialist with the following duties:

- Support a high performing and collaborative set of customer groups and be a key contributor to the monitoring improvement project
- Co-ordination for specific monitoring related topics
- Incident management and 3rd party application maintenance and support
- Support to business areas in their technical testing in test and integration
- Environments
- Preparation of training documentation and execution of user training

You should bring with you the following Skills:

- Demonstrated ability to configure and manage multi-OS environments (RedHat,
- Solaris, MS Server 2008/2012 R2)
- Superior knowledge of monitoring tools (Nagios, Check_MK)
- Thorough understanding of conceptual implementation of monitoring solutions
- Competent in Oracle PL/SQL and Microsoft SQL
- Experience in working in an international team with native/fluent and non-native/fluent English Speakers
- Fluent in spoken and written German and English
- Technical know-how in operating systems, databases and applications
- the ability to communicate technical ideas effectively in oral and written forms, and solve complex problems in a team environment
