Monitoring and Log Collection Architect

Our client is seeking an experienced Monitoring and Log Collection Architect who will be primarily responsible to oversee the development and integration of a system monitoring solution.

You will have the following skills and experience:

- Sound experience with monitoring and log collection based needs analysis and develop enterprise level solutions.
- Identify, oversee and implement sound monitoring practices that integrate monitoring solutions
- Experienced with the technical aspects of system development of the overall solution
- You will have relevant experience in complex system monitoring and have considerable knowledge of the numerous technical disciplines that contribute to the delivery of services across an enterprise level information system
- You will have a good understanding of enterprise level architecture and Thin Client delivery solutions.
- Will decide which application will contribute what monitoring functions and will work closely with engineering personnel to ensure proper implementation and integration of monitoring capabilities;
- To work closely with key stakeholders from the business to ensure that the needs of the business are being met by the architecture teams.
- Significant experience using security monitoring tools
- Knowledge of network platforms, various OS platforms, security systems and perimeter security.
- Forensics analysis experience is plus
- CISSP or CISA certification is preferred.
