Monitoring Analyst (Operations, Networks, Unix) - Glasgow

Operations Analyst/Monitoring Analyst required for our client based in Glasgow, Scotland for a fixed term contract offering negotiable + premium shift allowance.

An Operations Analyst is required to monitor key services and applications as well as Network, Unix and Database infrastructures in a 24x7 shift based environment, highlighting and escalating issues as appropriate. Working as part of a team, you'll also be responsible for monitoring external facing websites and security systems.

To be considered you will have experience in a similar Operations Monitoring role, good working knowledge of desktop applications including MS Office Suite and Lotus Notes. Experience of structured analysis is also important. Any prior experience/knowledge of Unix and Assyst would be highly advantageous.

You will also be self-motivated and disciplined and able to remain focussed. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.

This role is shift based on a 4 on/4 off basis with both day and night shifts.
