Module Technology Expert (f/m)
Harvey Nash are a global Professional Services provider in the areas of Technology and Engineering Recruitment and Outsourcing. For our client, in Munich we are currently looking for a Module Technology Expert (f/m) to join on the basis of a long-term freelance relationship.
Project Start:15.02.16
Project duration:12-18 Months+
Location: Munich
Task description :
* Work in development topics in the areas of semiconductor technology, packaging of integrated circuits and bonding technologies for smart cards
* Leading technical negotiations with component suppliers (semiconductor and electronics packaging suppliers, etc.) e.g. on technical specifications
* Work in interdisciplinary teams for supplier development as technical expert
*Make prototype samples on laboratory equipment for test series
* Support in development and optimization of suitable test methods
* Provide internal product documentation for product releases
* Conduct failure analysis as support to the quality organization
* Introduction of new products/components to the production network
* Leading of small/medium-sized Development Projects and supporting large-scale development projects in an expert role
* operation with international development and production sites
Technical Know-how :
*Very good degree in physics (focus on semiconductor or solid state physics), process engineering or other suitable branches of study
* Knowledge on integrated circuit design beneficial
* Knowledge on development/quality tools (FMEA, Ishikawa, statistics, etc.)
* Knowledge on mechanical simulation beneficial
* Experience in project management and tools
* Mandatory to be fluent in spoken and written English
*Knowledge on MS-Office
* Knowledge on SAP beneficial
* 6Sigma Knowledge (Green Belt, etc.) beneficial
* Willingness to travel worldwide
Languages :
* Very good English and German is required for team communication and documentation.
