Modelling Technician

My client, a market-leading consultancy based in Edinburgh is looking for an

Actuarial Analyst - Defined Benefit Pensions

Your role:

You will work with product managers and quantitative analysts to develop technical methods for the modelling of pensions liabilities within a stochastic modelling framework and you will also develop technical specifications describing calculations to be implemented within the companies` products (including the development of appropriate test-coverage and acceptance-criteria).

Furthermore you will be responsible for supporting effective development and testing of products, utilising pensions modelling experience and you will perform testing of new product developments.

You will also engage with clients and the CRM team to understand future demand.

Requirements:

- first degree in finance, mathematics or other relevant discipline
- working towards an actuarial qualification
- having experience of performing ALM studies
