Castlerock Recruitment Group are currently seeking experienced and competent registered nurses to provide full time cover for a 24-hour medical centre based in Woking. The band 5 nurses will be expected to work a variety of shifts including earlys, lates, nights and long days. This post is to join a bank of staff and therefore this post is for ad-hoc shift cover.

The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, the registered nurse will work as a named nurse to a given client group to ensure the highest standard of care is maintained to each individual patient. You will be expected to manage a patient group with complex trauma needs.

The successful candidates will have 2-5 years post registration experience with a minimum of two years experience within NHS or hospital. The nurses will be expected to:
-Be responsible for maintaining high standards of patient care
-Maintain professional registration and personal portfolio
-Maintain high standards of documentation in accordance with the NMC The Code (2008)
-Work within own level of competence with reference to the NMC The Code

Duties will include:
-BLS
-IT skills
-Admission and discharge of patient group
-Assessing and recognizing deteriorating patients
-Administering IV antibiotics
-Cannulation and venepuncture
-Wound care
-Catheter care
-Bowel care
-mobilizing patients.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate both written and IT literacy to enable the recording of assessment, planning, care and evaluation of nursing care and the ordering and retrieval of clinical investigations.
