The Mobile Screening Nurse role is a fantastic job for someone who likes to work on the road in a challenging and self motivating position. The role will provide on-site health screening in a mobile screening unit in accordance with the mandated generic working practices, and specific client Service Level Agreements.

You will work out on the road, across approximatley 2 hour radius of your home across the Southampton/Winchester area (we are flexible) your travel expenses will be paid and accommodation if required. This is a 3 month Fixed Term Contract.

PURPOSE:

To use products, systems and professional expertise to:

* Deliver Occupational Health Services to meet client requirements
* Using effective time management skills to ensure delivery timescales are met
* Ensure that services provided meet the most current standards by participating in appropriate training
* Working predominantly alone as part of a network of geographically dispersed professionals.
* Providing Health Screening and other services to monitor the health of client workforces
* Completing appropriate paperwork and using any relevant IT
* Contact with customers will be face to face

PRIORITIES:

* Timely, efficient and professional delivery of all service
* Maintenance of professional standards and knowledge
* Effective liaison with administrative staff to maximise communication and efficiency
* Contributing to Capita Occupational Health's improved business performance and market share by providing high quality and flexible screening programmes.

KEY OUTPUTS:
* Daily travel to client work places and carry out the required health screening as designated by the Logistics Department
* Be prepared to stay away from home Monday to Thursday as required by the work schedule.
* Maintain all records, documentation and test results, ensuring their safe and prompt dispatch to clinic locations.
* To ensure that the mobile unit is fully stocked and clinical waste is properly disposed of.
* Ensure that the mobile unit is reasonably maintained on a day to day basis and kept clean.

* Operating at all times within the ethical standards of the Nursing and Midwifery council legislative and procedural frameworks and codes of practice.
* Operating according to Capita OH standards and procedures
* Operating according to Capita OH Clinical Governance strategy and guidelines
* Fitness of employees based upon evidential screening results in association with Capita OH Occupational Health Physicians as appropriate

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
* Meeting standardised work practices, especially timings, as detailed by the Mobile Services Manager.
* Consistently meeting the service levels agreed between Capita OH and the client organisations.
* Professional training is maintained and documented
* Services are consistently delivered within timescales and to a high professional standard
