Mobile Graphic Designer Job

MOBILE GRAPHIC DESIGNER needed for an exciting CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Redmond, WA.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Mobile graphic design experience
- Good with color and typography
- Photoshop suite

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Visual designer for Mobile/software/apps
- Designs "look and feel" of apps
- Take a visual concept and expand on it
- Develop visual design concepts, product attributes and iconography.
- Evaluates and acquires imaging content.
- May assist in addressing user experience/interface design based off existing guidelines
- May address global design issues.
- Possibility of creation of slide decks, and presenting to the GM.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's degree in Design, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Industrial Design or related area
- Three to five (3-5) years of work related experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating solid visual design skills
- Photoshop, Illustrator
- Ability to design quality graphics and user interfaces
- An understanding of UX/interaction
- Ability to take a visual concept and expand on it
- Excellent knowledge of color and typography
- Must understand an agile environment
- Must have a flexible personality
- Ability to understand technology issues and communicate information effectively
- Confidentiality is a must!

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- AfterEffects is a plus
- Icon experience is a "nice to have"
- Someone who is used to working with a small team will have an edge!
