Mobile Developer (Experienced with Bluetooth Low Energy)

For a major international client in Lausanne, we are looking for a:

MOBILE DEVELOPER (EXPERIENCED WITH BLUETOOTH LOW ENERGY)

to join the Mobile team within our client's Commercial Stream and contribute to the developments of new features for mobile applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

ANALYSIS

- Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents
- Investigate, analyse and document reported defects
- Estimate development stories
- Act as a Solution Designer when needed

DEVELOPMENT

- Develop new mobile features for the applications' portfolio by following industry standards for code quality
- Perform corrective maintenance and correction of identified defects
- Unit testing development
- Participate in bug resolution
- Apply best practices, and software architecture guidelines

CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE:

- 5-10 years' experience as a software developer with relevant and proven experience on developing apps interacting with BLUETOOTH LOW ENERGY HW
- Good knowledge of Bluetooth LE stack and communication protocol
- Knowledge in C/C++ DEVELOPMENT FOR EMBEDDED DEVELOPMENT
- Familiar with programmable HW platforms (eg ARDUINO) for SW prototyping (eg being able to develop basic communication protocols on Arduino board and the app on the phone interacting with it over Bluetooth LE)
- Strong development background on native IOS (OBJECTIVE C) AND/OR ANDROID
- Experience of source code management software (GIT)
- Experience working with Java and SCRUM would be a plus
- Fluent in ENGLISH. French would considered as an asset

THIS IS A CONTRACT POSITION WITH AN INTERNATIONAL CLIENT UNTIL THE END OF THIS YEAR, IN THE FIRST INSTANCE. THE CLIENT IS LOCATED ON LAKE GENEVA, IN LAUSANNE. INFO-TECH WILL PROVIDE ADVICE AND SUPPORT THROUGH YOUR RELOCATION IF YOU ARE WORKING IN SWITZERLAND FOR THE FIRST TIME.
