Mobile Developer
Join a truly elite mobile development team, working on global scale apps. This role will be predominantly focused on Hybrid development across Financial/Banking apps.
12 month rolling day rate contract.
Based in Dublin City Centre.
Responsibilities
- Design and build advanced applications for the mobile platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Skills
- Competency in HTML5, CSS 3, JavaScript,JQuery Mobile is required
- Java, Android or objective-C/iOS competence is a plus
- Mobile frameworks (Appcelerator, Phonegap, Adobe AIR) experience is a plus
- An understanding of Agile development methodologies is key
- Web Services (REST and SOAP)
- Strong HTML, JavaScript/JQuery/JQuery Mobile (AJAX, DOM, JSON) and Java skills
- CSS experience
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Strong knowledge of mobile web standards of both the feature and smart phone markets
