Mobile Developer

A Multinational Tech giant, with EU HQ in Dublin, seek a Mobile Developer.

12 month rolling contracts.

Current Requirement - 4 x Mobile Developers

Skills:

- 5+ years development experience.
- Experience working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics and Core Text
- Experience with Android, Symbian, WebOS sdks is a huge plus
- Mobile Application Development for iPhone, iPad, Android using native development (Objective-C, Java).
- Web Services (REST and SOAP)
- Strong HTML, JavaScript/JQuery/JQuery Mobile (AJAX, DOM, JSON) and Java skills CSS experience
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Strong knowledge of mobile web standards of both the feature and smart phone markets
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
- SVN or source management experience
- Experience object-oriented concepts and design patterns

Responsibilities:

- Design and build advanced applications for the mobile platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
