Mobile Apps Developer - 3 Month Contract -Aberdeen

My Aberdeen based client are looking for an experienced mobile developer to evaluate and implement relevant technologies and libraries to use in the mobile space, and work with the User Experience team to bring their designs to life on various mobile devices. As an experienced mobile UI developer, you will be an expert on HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript, and have all relevant experience from developing mobile sites working across multiple platforms. You should have worked in a TDD environment, and know how it applies to website development.

Responsibilities;
Building mobile web pages and templates for new products and associated sites from pre-designed image mock-ups.
Working with services teams, UI teams, and product teams on story estimations, elaboration and acceptance criteria, and delivering on the stories.
Collaborate with peer groups to contribute to solutions across the wider team.
Create, maintain and follow brand style guides and documentation.

Skills;
Experience in web site or mobile web app development and mobile site development.
Proven skills in HTML5 coding and excellent skills in CSS(3) coding and methodologies.
Expert knowledge of the latest JavaScript methodologies, including unobtrusive/DOM scripting and AJAX/JSON, knowledge of multiple JavaScript libraries is also useful.
Experience in mobile web development for multiple device support is a plus.

The team is an integral part of the development and delivery process for new concepts and functionality on the site and is one of the most in-demand teams within the company. Any ecommerce experience would be an advantage.
