Mobile Crane Operator

Mobile Crane Operators required for work at Devonport Dockyard Plymouth.

Primary purpose: to provide a safe efficient operation of mobile cranes at Devonport Royal Dockyard. Movement of machinery and equipment on and off board naval surface ships and submarines.

Qualifications & Experience - Current CPCS with Mobile Crane operation, current HGV licence.

Hours of work: 07:30 to 15:45 plus overtime.

PAY RATES:
LOCAL CONTRACTORS commuting from inside a 30 mile radius of PL1 4SG:
(PAYE) £9.53 hour for first 37 hours, £10.68 for overtime, with 25% uplift for back/ night shifts. Plus paid leave entitlement.
Umbrella/ LTD: £12.04 for all hours dayshift with 25% uplift for back/ night shifts.

NATIONAL CONTRACTORS commuting from outside a 30 mile radius of PL1 4SG:
(PAYE) £10.67 hour for first 37 hours, £11.96 for overtime, with 25% uplift for back/ night shifts. Plus paid leave entitlement.
Umbrella/ LTD: £13.49 for all hours dayshift with 25% uplift for back/ night shifts.

Overtime is expected but not guaranteed.
MOD security vetting will be required.
The initial period of contract is for 6 months with contract extensions possible.
