Mobile Automation QA

MOBILE AUTOMATION QA - BRUSSELS - 12 MONTHS CONTRACT - RATE: 350 - 390 EUROS

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The QA/Test Engineer will take-up the following tasks:

Definition of quality assurance criteria and test case scenario's:

- Acceptance procedure definition in coordination with the QA manager and Project manager
- Implementation of the acceptance procedure into platform (JIRA, Confluence)
- Test cases and test scenario design
- Test suite design and execution
- Test automation - Selenium, JUnit, OS tools
- Unit tests design and implementation
- Evaluation of new libraries, plugins or solution
- Proof of concept for testing new libraries, plugins or solution integration
- Support, consultancy and advice to the users
- Support and consultancy and specific requests for Test management
- Participate in audit of projects in the scope of Test management
- Knowledge transfer and capitalization by writing How-to's, guidelines
- Design, implementation and maintenance of a Testing procedure
- Develop a systematic approach to validate web and mobile applications in various browsers/platforms
- Evaluation of Automation Test tools
- Participate actively in the planning of rollouts of new updates
- Validate all customer technical documentation provided by the development
- Work closely with team members to ensure quality standards are consistently being met

Desired Skills & Experience:

- Minimum of 3 years QA/Testing experience
- Experience with web and mobile (iOS, Android) App. Testing
- Excellent knowledge of QA Lifecycle Activities
- Agile method and continuous delivery
- Proven experience in Unit & tests design and automation
- Proven experience in continuous integration and configuration management
- Good knowledge of Test driven development (TDD) and related tools
- Tests for Mobile applications
- Proven work experience with Python and SQL
- Proven experience in Jenkins, GIT based deployments
- Good knowledge in Web security and vulnerability testing
- Good understanding of the following concepts: Automated Techniques, Functional, Integration, Regression, Stress, Load, Unit Testing at various software layers
- Familiar with methods of testing like Black Box, dynamic, static and white testing
- Experience with test automation tools and scripted testing
- Quality in writing Tests scenarios and functional specifications
- Excellent English writing skills
