Mobile Architect
We are looking for a hands-on mobile solutions architect for mobile development in Oslo for a number of apps and stacks, specifically in HTML5 and Angular JS related technologies:
You'll work as the Front End development/mobile solutions architect on a Scrum team with other developers to lead the technical design, development and maintenance of mobile apps.
The responsibilities include:
Assist in setting the technical direction for the team, including selection of technologies, review of code organization and algorithms, and setting strategies for quality assurance and release engineering
Occasional travel and interaction with external customers is also expected
Skills and experience required
More than 10 years of experience
English language skills a must. Norwegian/Swedish language skills an advantage.
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team of more than 20 engineers to successfully achieve business objectives.
Demonstrated ability to work closely and collaboratively with cross functional teams, customers, and partners to achieve business objectives and exceed customer requirements.
Mobile apps design for iOS, Android and other smartphone platforms.
Knowledgeable of the mobile/tablet technology space
Requirements:
6-8 years of experience in Web application development
Clear understanding of Software development life cycle
In-Depth understanding of JavaScript for building large applications
Hands-on experience in writing JavaScript unit tests with Jasmine or QUnit or Mocha
Hands-on experience building responsive content using CSS3/Bootstrap.
In-depth knowledge of handling DOM Manipulation
Understanding of Web Services
Desirable
Hands-on experience with one more Single Page Application frameworks such as Ember.JS, Knockout.JS, Backbone.JS or AngularJS
Agile methodologies (SCRUM)
Knowledge on GIT, Grunt, Bower and Node JS is a plus.
Knowledge on SASS/SCSS/LESS/COMPASS is an added advantage
Knowledgeable of existing platforms such as Kony, Appcelerator, Xamarin, Outsystems as well as their pro's and con's for different situations.
Location: Norway, Oslo, Stavanger also an options
Language specification: Norwegian and English
