Mobile Applications Developer

Our client is a Global Company operating in Kildare. They currently seek a MOBILE APPLICATIONS DEVELOPER to join their team, working at their Manufacturing facility in Leixlip. As a member of a multinational Global IT team you will participate in all phases of development for a consumer mobile shopping platform from definition and design through implementation, debugging, testing and deployment to ensure all work is to the highest standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Essential: Experienced UI developer with broad understanding of all the components of large consumer facing web applications.
- UI development experience.
- Excellent JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3 skills.
- Experienced in developing dynamic JavaScript Applications.
- Good understanding of web technologies, usability, Object Oriented programming and development frameworks. At least 5+ years as a software engineering using OO languages (Java, C++, C# etc.).
- Cross browser and cross device web app development.

Desirable Skills:

- Experience of modern web development toolkits and libraries such as Backbone, Underscore, Angular, Ember, JQuery, etc.
- Practical knowledge of working within a continuous build environment including working with a Source Control Management tool.
- Experience of agile development processes an advantage.
- Experience of internationalisation/localization an advantage.
- Knowledge of Unit Testing.
- Experience in iOS development.
- Experience in Android development.
- Experience in Windows 8 development.
- Experience building native and web applications.
- Knowledge of SQLite, MySQL or similar database management system.
- Experience in development of Server Side/enterprise systems would be an advantage.

Education/Experience

- Typically a technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 6 years related experience or a Master's degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience.
