Purpose and Description: 
The Mobile Application Certification Process Manager position is a new contract position in the Mobility Center of Excellence (MCoE) within IT. The MCoE is a centralized mobile application development and solution delivery organization, providing enterprise shared services across client to organizations such as national functions, regions, PMO, medical groups and others for the purpose of empowering client's business strategy and needs through the nimble, world class development, delivery and support of mobile application solutions at scale. 

Essential Functions: 
Manage the certification process of each project to the established scope. 
Manages the program of certification by adapting the process to meet organizational changes, technology capability and resource availability. 
Develops metrics, reports and dashboard to that documents current health of the certification program. 
Initiates, builds, and maintains good relationships with IT and business management to help facilitate effective completion of project work. 
Actively manages project manager expectations. 
Identifies and schedules certification deliverables, milestones, dependencies, and required tasks. 
Assign duties, responsibilities, and task to accountable team members for completion of specific task for certification. 
Adheres to the client's system life cycle (SDLC) and project management standards and practices, reporting and documentation. 
Prepares individual project status reports and keeps management, project managers and certification stakeholders informed of certification status and related issues. 
Contributes to continuous improvements in process management methodology and processes. 

Required Experience: 
*These are the MUST HAVE items. If a candidate does not have these then they will be rejected.* 
5 years of Project Management experience and at least 2 years of experience in mobile application project management 
2 years of Process Management experience 
Proven track record of delivering IT projects using varied development approaches for internal and externally developed applications as well as packaged applications including Waterfall and Agile Scrum..*they MUST have DOCUMENTED experience in BOTH methodologies* 
Excellent leadership and communications skills required..*This is being judged by the documented public speaking engagement and trainings that are listed on the resume* 
Experience managing a Matrix team consisting of associates, contractors, and vendors with various skills and disciplines. 
Demonstrated strong business acumen to complement strong tactical execution skills..*this relates to budget and project management and their ability to run a full-life cycle program* 
Experience with project management, process management and communication tools such as Project, Powerpoint, and Visio..*These MUST ALL be present* 
Experience using Microsoft Excel and Word 
Experience in process modelling with UML or other high level modelling language. 

Preferred Experience:

Project Management Masters Certification or PMP certification 
Experience in the healthcare industry 
Experience working for large organizations and cross-organizational initiatives 
Power user of mobile applications for personal and professional productivity 

Required Education: 
BA/BS degree
