Mobile Application Project Manager

Mobile Application Project Manager- Edinburgh- Banking- Contract

This resource needs to be more mobile application than infrastructure focused, but needs to understand both sides to a reasonable level and be able to speak to Business Areas about mobile apps and development options/life cycle etc.

Candidate Requirements:
-An understanding of mobile platforms and technologies (eg IOS, Mobile Device Management, App Distribution, Android, Mobile Email etc)
-Exposure to application development life cycle in relation to mobile apps delivery
-Exposure to agile delivery methodologies an advantage
-Create, manage and resources project plans containing scope and effort
-Identify and manage risk issues affecting work, progress and recommend solutions and mitigation
-Provide estimates and costs for new pieces of work and manage costs where appropriate for elements of delivery ownership.
-Use of toolsets and processes (eg PlanView, Infoman, Ops Passport, Project life cycle etc) in order to deliver project
-Has a reasonable level of technical understanding in relation to infrastructure services and technologies (eg Active Directory, Networks, Web services, PKI)
-Enthusiasm and drive to lead a distributed team working on mobile based technologies
-Work with and drive technical teams in the development and implementation of non-standard solutions to resolve issues relating to mobile app development and deployment.
