Mobile Application (Front End) Developer

Leading financial institution is looking for an experienced mobile Front End developer to join an established team working on a next generation mobile customer experience. You will be involved in developing software and applications that are compatible with mobile phones. Would suit someone who is ambitious, creative, dynamic and a team worker.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Producing the Front End of an engaging and technically excellent mobile application.
- Determining the mobile program's appearance, the functions the application should perform and the integration needed with Web services.
- Applying problem solving abilities and innovative thinking.
- Coordinating with marketing and product design teams.
- Bringing a real passion for mobile/web technologies to your development.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- 4+ years experience in designing and developing mobile applications.
- Demonstrated applied knowledge of Objective-C, Android API, Google Maps API, iOS SDK, HTML/CSS, jQuery, Mobile applications, UI/UX.
- Knowledge of usability principles, cross-browser compatibility, application security and accessibility best practices.
- Experience in a financial institution will be highly desired, but not essential.

This is an extraordinary opportunity for an experienced mobile application developer looking to work in a market leading company within the financial industry.

The initial duration of the contract is 12 months, and this is likely to extend up to 3 years.
