Mobile App Developer - iOS, Android, IBM Worklight

MOBILE APP DEVELOPER - IOS/ANDROID 

We are currently seeking an Mobile App Developer for our eCommerce team.  You will be working as part of an integrated client/Salmon team in a highly interactive environment.  You will be a key part of the team and expected to take the initiative in ensuring the business needs of our client are fully understood and met by the proposed solution.  This is a practical role requiring someone of excellent technical ability looking to make their mark in a diverse and expanding team.

The successful candidate will need to:

- Lead development of innovative Android/iphone/ipad apps
- Focus on user needs/optimum user experience by working as part of the Customer Experience team
- Stay current with evolving standards and technologies, learning new skills as needed
- Develop expert knowledge of IBM Worklight Mobile application platform

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

ESSENTIAL

- 3+ years commercial app development experience with a proven track record
- Strong OO design and programming skills in objective-C
- Familiar with iOS SDK and Xcode
- Familiar with Android SDK
- Experience building and delivering web and native apps
- Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 and JavaScript
- Excellent debugging and optmisation skills
- Excellent communication skills able to explain technological solutions to colleagues and clients
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

DESIRED

- Experience of PhoneGap or similar development technologies
- Experience of IBM Worklight Mobile application platform
- Knowledge of web integration services and version control
- Knowledge of Blackberry and WinMob platforms
