Mobile and Web Development Officer

The MOBILE AND WEB DEVELOPMENT OFFICER is responsible for conducting or participating in major systems level projects. Responsibilities are varied and may include supervision, technical leadership and/or project management, analysis, investigation, design and implementation of various systems projects. It is heavily involved in liaison with system users and provides expert advice and assistance in the design, development, implementation and integration of information systems.

Skills needed:

- An Information Technology-related degree or demonstrated professional experience in the deployment of information systems business solutions.
- Demonstrated experience fulfilling the roles of Systems Analyst/Programmer or Mobile Web Analyst/Programmer, in large-scale corporate systems.

Demonstrated professional expertise in the following skill areas:

Apache, IIS, PHP, Per, MySQL, Oracle (Linux, Windows)

Mobile Web Development (including Responsive Web Design)

iOS or Android Platform level development

Mobile and Web Accessibility/Usability

- As required for complex projects; project management or technical leadership responsibility for employees delivering client-focused information systems services, including the provision of advice on procedures, systems and priorities.
- Well developed interpersonal, oral and written communications skills, including the ability to liaise with management, staff and external agencies and establish effective professional relationships, especially regarding systems requirements.
