DESCRIPTION:

This is to support iphone rollout project for a customer. Worker would need to procure services/devices from mobile wireless carriers for new service and upgrades. IT Request Center and Clarify is used as well as carrier portals. Workers can be trained on the applications what is important is this person has experience in supporting Blackberries, iphones and cell phones .mainly iphones for this particular project.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with carriers with transfers in and transfers out
Assist with the procurement of wireless devices for approved Authorized Users using the customer's
process and procedures through the Service Request tool.
Assist Authorized Users in migrating from one wireless device to another
Perform termination audits on a regular basis with carrier based on cases created or through audits
from HR reports.
Manage and maintain a listing of all wireless devices (active and inactive) to include a complete profile of the Authorized User.
Maintain and manage a listing when an Authorized User is eligible for upgraded Equipment.
Coordinate the issuance of new Devices and the replacement of lost or stolen devices.
Activate and deactivate mobile phone equipment, accessories, and services.
Provide support for lost, stolen, and warranty report of mobile phone Equipment.
Make suitable arrangements to accept notification of separation/termination notices through hard
copy or e-mail from customer Entities' human resources departments, or through an automated feed
from the human resources Systems.
Instruct Authorized Users on the use of Portable Network Devices per the customer policy
Work with Equipment vendors to deliver current images pre-installed on all applicable Handheld Devices.
Post articles or tips to educate users on acceptable usage and behavior
Assist Authorized Users in migrating from one Handheld Device to another.
Maintain, with appropriate security controls, an on-site or nearby inventory of Devices to be issued on
short notice or on an emergency basis as needed to meet the Service Levels.
Procure and Deploy Devices, Provide device setup support
Provide break/fix Equipment life cycle Services for Handheld Devices
Perform Equipment redeployment or disposal process, including the wiping of data
Manage and maintain web-based content for Authorized Users to obtain current support information,
including usage documentation for each Portable Network Device; rate plan options and details available to Authorized Users; coverage information by carrier, frequently-asked questions (FAQs) and the associated answers, as well as information regarding how to order accessories, how to get support, how to get information about actual billed costs.

SKILLS REQUIRED
Ability to present a positive, friendly, professional and knowledgeable image to the customer.
Good understanding of Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel)
General understanding of wireless services, features and benefits of all services and devices offered
Good understanding of Clarify and Remedy Console (preferred but not required)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organization and team skills
2-4 years of experience
