MIS ANALYST - INFORMATION & ANALYTICS  $450- $490 PER DAY (S20)

Our client is major Financial Services & Banking organisation and currently there is an opportunity for an experienced MIS ANALYST - INFORMATION & ANALYTICS  to join their project team.  The role is responsible for the analysis of business needs, development of analytics and reporting outputs, managing current MIS processes and MIS systems implementation. 

- This involves collaborating with relevant team members, Senior Business Managers, Business Users and IT/Source System owners.
- Maintain and enhance current MIS and Analytics reporting, providing ad-hoc reports and troubleshooting issues.
- MIS report design and analysis using advanced SQL, Access and MS Reporting Services (Microsoft SQL Server suite development tools preferred).
- Provide BA support in MIS projects and change initiatives
- Develop Business Requirement Documents and Functional Specification documents where is required.

The following skills are required for the role:

- PROVEN MIS REPORTING AND ANALYTICS DELIVERY INCLUDING DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE WITH OPERATIONAL WORKFLOW SYSTEMS AND DETERMINING OPERATIONAL MIS KPI
- ADVANCED SQL PROGRAMMING USING MS SQL SERVER, ADVANCED EXCEL & ACCESS AND SHAREPOINT SKILLS
- DEVELOPMENT OF REPORTS IN MS REPORTING SERVICES, ETL PACKAGES USING MS INTEGRATION SERVICES OR OTHER ETL TOOLS, OLAP CUBES & MDX QUERYING USING MS ANALYSIS SERVICES
- DEMONSTRATED SYSTEMS KNOWLEDGE IN BANKING, FINANCE
- EXPOSURE TO CONTROL-M, FILENET BASED WORKFLOW SYSTEMS, CORE TRANSACTION BANKING OR CREDIT CARD SYSTEMS HIGHLY REGARDED,
